On all of your panels, there should be a little lip on the underside of that fence panel

So make sure that you've got the panels the right way up when you lay them and try and

paint any panels that you're not going to be accessing later on that you won't be able to access

There's the lip in place that sits over the base. Lay your panels out around the perimeter of your base

As you can see that we've painted the ones we're not going to be able to get to later on

and then using the help of a friend drill some pilot holes and screw the panels together through the edge rib Don forget the pilot hole this timber splits very easily Lay all the panels prop them

If you've got a big shed like this, then prop them as you go round, but don't fix to the base just yet

Fix all of the panels together around the perimeter, then jump inside and make sure your floor is square

You'll see in a moment that we pull the side panels in towards the base

and that must be done all the way around the perimeter to make out. absolutely sure that all of the base is touching the lip that you saw so that we're

absolutely sure that we're square before we fix the floor down to the bearers and in

our case the timber sub base that we put underneath with some insulation this is

going to be a workshop so it's really important that is warm having fixed the floor

we're now going to start work on the roof supports the main supports will have a

strut going across the middle we'll call these ones trusses and we're going to use one of

the apex sections from the shed as a template to lay our trusses against So we formed the correct angle by laying the truss against that apex fixing it with the apex piece that comes supplied All sheds will vary just a little bit

This truss support will actually fit underneath. The angles are cut for it to fit underneath the truss

But to give ourselves a little bit more head height, we're going to fix it across. It's still got plenty of support

Using a friend again, lay the trusses out on every panel joint

or as instructed by your instructions and fix securely to the top of the shed

This will hold the walls together and allow you to remove the supports that you put on the outside

When they're all in place, check again for square and bang your ridgeboard into place

Fixing that solidly. The ridgeboard normally comes in pieces that fit in between the truss and the joiners in the middle of the truss

Once you have that in place, you can be sure that everything is square. start fixing your apex pieces where you go over a door this will normally come in
